Victoria Chamane is a housemother of six children at Mother of Peace, Illovo. She grew up in Maphumulo, an area in rural KwaZulu Natal. She is single and lived with her family before joining MoP. She has two children, Thobeka, who is 25 years old, and Sphephelo, who is 19. They live with her family whom she visits on her off days. She has a deep passion for helping people as it was her dream to become a nurse, hence her love for taking care of children. She enjoys spending time with them as they have a lot of respect for her. The greatest thing about being in the MoP community for Victoria is the opportunity to take care of children because she loves children so much. With extra money she would build a new home after losing hers in a fire. She would also like to send her daughter to further her education.
