I'm not a Feminist, But....

March 14, 2011

About the Show:

‘I’M NOT A FEMINIST, BUT… ‘  The topic is feminism in the lives of young people today: do they identify as feminists?  Why or why not?  How has feminist history impacted their lives? The performance was written by Russell Sage college women working with director Leigh Strimbeck, and looks at the topic of feminism with humor, irreverence, dance, song, and serious real-life monologues.

A portion of proceeds from this one night event will be donated to Berkshire Women for Women Worldwide. This event is presented as part of the Berkshire March Festival of Women Writers in conjunction with the 2011 Russell Sage College Spring Tour of ‘I’m not a Feminist, but…’
