Zandile Cele is a Housemother to six foster care children at Mother of Peace, Illovo. She grew up in Amandawe in rural KwaZulu Natal where she lived with her extended family. She is single and does not have any children. She is very devoted to the children at Mother of Peace, and loves the children in her home as if they were her own. During her off days she returns to her home and supports her younger brother. She has a great relationship with the children and believes they have a lot of respect for her. She enjoys cooking and reading stories to the children and most enjoys making roast chicken with rice. The greatest part of her job at MoP is meeting people and working with children from different backgrounds, as well as those with special needs. With extra money, Zandile would help her siblings further their education.
