Richard Tovell
Richard Tovell Secretary (he/him), Richard started his design career in London, UK, working for a small exhibition, event, and conference company, designing corporate identity themes, signage, and information graphics for international medical, news, and industrial automotive clients. Having spent eight years immersed in corporate events, he started his freelance career by joining a design team that created interpretive graphic solutions for museum and heritage sites. Clients included London Zoo and English Heritage. Richard’s solo work continued in London for non-profits such as the children’s charity Barnardo’s, and for the government agency NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence). He also created designs for the Horniman Museum in South London, working on their aquarium graphics and numerous education learning packs for school visits. Partnering with his wife, Abby, an accomplished web designer, they established T Square Design Studio to expand the range of design services they can provide. Richard and Abby relocated to the Berkshires in 2010 with their two young children and dog Spike. From their studio in Housatonic, they continue designing print, display, and websites for clients including Black Ice Entertainment (EPRI), the Berkshire Museum, Chesterwood, Millay Arts, Edith Wharton's The Mount, Olana, Ward’s Nursery, This Is My Brave, and numerous other for and not for profit organizations.
