Jade Nicholas (she/they) is a bisexual theatre administrator, who believes in arts experiences for all, and a disabled performance artist, who specializes in wet and messy creations. Current Role with WAM: Manager of Communications & Engagement WAM Theatre: Jade is thrilled to deepen her work in this new role after freelancing for WAM since February 2024. Selected Theatre Credits Elsewhere: Volunteer Relations Manager at Barrington Stage Company, Chairman of the Directing Staff at Joplin Little Theatre, Director at William Inge Center for the Arts, Events Supervisor at Taylor Performing Arts Center, Director at Heartland Opera Company. Creative inspiration: Peeling back the layers of human existence and making space to destigmatize and embrace our needs & desires. Community Engagement/Activist work: Beyond advocating for bodily autonomy for all, Jade’s special focuses are on disability justice and the decriminalization of sex work. Selected training: Jade has an MS in Arts Administration from Drexel University and her BA in Theatre Arts and Business Administration from Missouri Southern State University.
