Alice Hixon Kirk – Pianist (she/her) is a Berkshires/NYC based musician, designer, and educator. WAM Theatre: pianist. This is Alice’s debut performance with WAM. Performance Credits Elsewhere: In 2022, she performed in the improv music and comedy show Live From International Waters in the Berkshires, NYC, and Los Angeles. Most recently, Alice performed as an accompanist in a benefit concert for local radio station WBCR-LP 97.7, Great Barrington. Selected Training: She holds a B.A. in classical cello and piano performance from Smith College and a Master’s in industrial design from Pratt Institute. Additional Artistic Credits & Interests: In her design work Alice has developed consumer products for musicians, including the Haptic Cello Bow™. She enjoys collaborating on multidisciplinary projects with actors, dancers, visual artists, comedians, and writers. Some of Alice’s favorite piano artists include Debussy, Monk, Yuja Wang, and Robert Glasper.
