JoJo Kirtley (she/her) is a freelance writer, producer, and facilitator, and the Founder & Artistic Director of Workie Ticket Theatre, an award-winning, female and survivor-led theatre company based in Newcastle, England. Current role with WAM: Guest artist for Fireside Chat April 2025  WAM Theatre: Debut Additional artistic credits: A passionate advocate for women’s rights, JoJo creates powerful, community-driven theatre. Community Engagement/Activist work: Recently awarded a Churchill Fellowship, she’s been traveling across Europe and America researching how theatre can combat gender-based violence & empower survivors.
