Julie Fife

Julie A. Fife (she/her) is a production manager and Equity Stage Manager based in Western Massachusetts. Current Role at WAM Theatre: stage manager for the Fresh Takes Reading Series. Selected Theatre Credits Elsewhere: Regionally, she has worked with Syracuse Stage; PlayMakers Repertory Company at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill; Arena Stage; The Shakespeare Theater at the Lansburgh in Washington, DC; Triangle Opera and Capital Repertory Company, among many others. She has guided well over 300 productions from planning to closing, including: Long Day’s Journey Into Night with Sam Waterston and Elizabeth Franz, directed by Kent Paul; Tazewell Thompson’s Constant Star; Burn This directed by Bruce Bouchard; Wit with Tandy Cronyn; Look Homeward, Angel and The Glass Menagerie with Kathleen Nolan and directed by Kent Paul. Affiliations: Julie has been an Equity Stage Manager for 37 years and loves teaching and sharing the art and craft of stage management. Julie is in her 22nd year as production manager for the UMass Department of Theater. Last word: Julie is grateful for all her experiences in the theater as both a leader and mentor.
