Shivanna Shooknanan

Shivanna Sooknanan (she/her) is a South Asian Scenic and Costume designer born and raised and resides in New York City. Current Role with WAM Theatre: Costume Designer of What the Constitution Means to Me. WAM Theatre: debut. Selected Credits: Shivanna has assisted/ associated with designers including Clint Ramos, Derek McLane, Wilson Chin, Dede Ayite, Riw Rakkulchon, Arnulfo Maldonado. at: Circle In the Square, Berkshire Theatre Group, George Street Playhouse, Ogunquit Playhouse, Minetta Lane, Berkeley Rep amongst others. Additional Design Work: Shivanna has designed and worked on many pop-up shops, store window display and events such as several movie premieres for clients like St Germain, Gin De Las Californias, Cerbeili, Harrods, Saks 5th Ave, Tiffany and Co., Hudson Bay and Co., Bergdorf Goodman, Beast Movie, Bros Movie and many others.  Affiliations: Member of Wingspace and Design Action.
