Two local women concerned about the gender inequalities faced by girls and women in less developed countries have opened a new women’s theater in Troy and Pittsfield. It’s called WAM. The goal is to give women more opportunities to write and produce their own material, and to also use a portion of the proceeds to change the lives of women and girls around the world.
