ALBANY, NY (WAMC) – Feminism seems to be evolving – and part of the reason for that is the Internet. It’s never been easier to connect, to discuss, to organize – and one of the earliest spots on the web for women was feminist.com. Founder Marianne Schnall, who’s just put out a new book featuring some of the most prominent women she’s interviewed over the years, stopped in to reflect on 15 years as host of a major feminist gathering place.

And finally, the book “Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide.” by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn was the inspiration for a Western Massachusetts theatre project that puts activism into acting. Charlie Deitz reports.
