Hope Rose Kelly is an Equity Stage Manager based in the Berkshires. She has worked at many companies in the Northeast and across the country: Shakespeare & Company (where she serves as Production Stage Manager), Montana Repertory Theatre, Long Wharf Theatre, Wilma Theatre, L/A Public Theatre, Hangar Theatre, McCarter Theatre, New Repertory Theatre, Wallis Center in Beverly Hill, George Street Playhouse, and Stonington Opera House – to name a handful. Hope attended Ithaca College and the University of Toronto. She currently serves on the Board of the Stage Managers’ Association and is a member of Actors’ Equity Association.
I prefer to watch theatre that brings to light the current topics and issues in our world while delving into the human spirit which WAM Theatre excels at producing. And it’s fantastic to have another company here in the Berkshires that works hard to utilize the skills and talents of local artists and production personnel.
