Wendy Healey

Wendy Healey (she/her) is a management consultant and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in banking, financial technology, and marketing. Wendy joined the WAM board of directors in 2018 and currently serves as the board President and chairs the Governance Committee. A lifelong feminist, she marched on Washington for the Equal Rights Amendment with her mother in 1978, and has been an advocate for women’s leadership development in the companies she has worked for. In addition to WAM Theatre’s board, she is a founding member of the Inclusive Economic Innovation Group, a think tank that seeks equitable solutions to systemic economic racism, and served on the board of directors of BerkShares, the local currency of the Berkshires.Wendy has been involved with local chambers of commerce her entire career, and served as the first woman president of the Avon, CT Chamber of Commerce. Wendy has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut where she also earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. She lives in an 1832 home on an old dairy farm in Colebrook, where she spends her free time working at her side-gig doing marketing for the saw mill she runs with her partner Scott and renovating a “fixer-upper” cottage nearby.
