Nomalungelo Ngcobo, often called Rosemary, referring to her middle name, is a Housemother at Mother of Peace, Illovo who grew up in the surrounding sugar cane area of Illovo. She is a single mother with two children, Nomzamo, 19 and Mpendulo who is six years old. Her children live with her extended family in their nearby home. She returns to her community during her off days to spend time with her children.
She likes cooking especially beef stew and rice. The children in her home make her feel like she is valued and makes a difference. She loves working with children and it gives her deep satisfaction to see them grow. With extra money, Rosemary would like to invest this in property by building a home for her children.
