Prreeti Tiwari (Lali Putri, Far, Far Better Things) is an American actress of Indian origin, driven by an unyielding passion for performing on stage. WAM Theatre: Prreeti feels blessed to make her WAM Theatre debut and expresses heartfelt gratitude to the Board and the WAM Theatre team for the incredible opportunity. Selected Theatre Credits: Macbeth (The Hanover Theatre) & Jado Jehad (Boston Playwrights’ Theatre). Regional credits include Machine Learning/Catalyst Collaborative@MIT Science Soiree (Central Square Theater) & Honey Girl (Fresh Ink Theatre Company), among others. Additional artistic credits: Prreeti has portrayed a diverse range of characters such as Lennox (Macbeth), Annabelle Castle (House on Haunted Hill), Celia (Calendar Girls), Theodora (The Haunting of Hill House), Phyllis (Body Awareness), Iva Archer (The Maltese Falcon), Sexy Nurse (The Sunshine Boys), & Gert Franklyn (California Suite). Community Engagement/Activist work: Earlier in March, Prreeti played a non-binary character as a community outreach in A Very Public, Very Family-Friendly Park Bench. The play won a jury award in the 10-Minute LGBTQ Plays Contest, at the Fresh Fruit Festival in NY. Membership/Affiliations: AEA/SAG-AFTRA. Awards/proudest achievements: Prreeti’s journey as a thespian began in 2012. Since then, she has performed in 47 straight plays in 5 states & major cities (including, Los Angeles, Boston, & Manhattan). This is her 48th (so close to her silver jubilee of shows!) & with that Prreeti eagerly looks forward to making it to the Great White Way, echoing the words of Amelia Earhart: “…But what do dreams know of boundaries?”.
